Strongman Kenton Berg demolished the Masters 3 field once again, taking first place and crushing all the souls who opposed him. Noah placed a noble 13th in a crowded and crazy Men’s 4’s race while Trevor finished 15th in the Masters 3’s. Unfortunately, Matt B. had some mechanical difficulties and had to swap bikes–but still road valiantly. Congratulations to everyone else on the team who raced last weekend.

I’d also like to thank Matt for providing a propane grill along with burgers, Hotdogs, plates, napkins, beer, and other essential things. It was awesome. And Jess, the brownies were phenomenal.

Next week the Seattle Cyclocross series kicks off. Check back early next week for a race report and photos.

Welcome to the Caffè Appassionato Cycling Team Website. Caffe Appassionato Cycling was born because we wanted to bring the camaraderie and brio of collegiate cycling to USCF racing. Established in 2007 by past and present University of Washington riders, CAC has expanded to include others looking for both a hospitable and competitive team.

Caffe Appassionato Cycling is proud to be primarily supported by local Seattle businesses invested in encouraging cycling in our city. In turn, our mission is to support each of our racers as much as possible. From a practical perspective, CAC exists to mitigate as many barriers as it can so that our members can just focus on riding.

Caffe Appassionato Cycling is a joint project of its members. We welcome new members wanting to help us strengthen our team both through comradeship and speed.
